Frigorífico Silva

Frigorifico Silva has a privileged position in relation to Brazil. It is located in Southern Brazil, in Rio Grande do Sul, the only state which borders Uruguay and Argentina. Frigorifico Silva is located in the state center, facilitating the acquiring of cattle from all the regions in the state. The cattle is composed by European breeds, kept grazing in the south fields, mainly in the Biome Pampa.

The Pampa Biome has over 400 native forage species, which give flavor to meat, and for its nutritional quality for animals, allows the fattening of young animals, producing meat tender and juicy, without using any kind of growth promoter or supplement with grain.

Because they are built on extensive grasslands, without concentration of animals, the use of veterinary products is quite limited. In addiction to it, the producers are instructed about the good practices of the agribusiness (BPA), which guarantee the arrival of the steers to the slaughtering with less stress, respecting the welfare of the animals.

Frigorifico Silva innovates the commercial process being the only company in Brazil with a system os contact after buying, aiming to obtain a business process even more intimate with the producers, improving in an indirect way the quality of the products.
