Knowing about the balance the animal and agroindustrial production need to have with the environment and with the society, the company always aimed the respect in its labor relations and its insertion in the nature. Recently, this balance concept has reached the sustainability and from this moment, this concepts were lead to the raw material producers.

The company were the first slaughterhouse in the south of the country allowed to certificate properties against slave labor, although this practice is not very common in the states in the south.

About the respect to the nature, an environmental politic        has been carefully made  by consultants from researches and education institutions, as the Federal University of Santa Maria and, most recently, Federal University of the Pampa, aiming to obtain productive and sustainable chains, without aggressions against the environment.

The prioritization occurs due to the awareness that it is necessary  to produce in a balanced way and also that the company is dependent of the natural resources to obtain and maintain the quality of the raw material.
